Using tractor trades is easy. Create a new data file or open an existing one. Let's open the TYT demo file. The first of nine modules is to enter a new trade. Alternatively, you can enter a stock option or mutual fund. The editor trade is used to edit information or to exercise an option. "View trades" gives you three tools for comprehensive data analysis: generate Schedule D for your tax return. This feature allows you to either print the report or export it to TurboTax, TaxCut, or other tax software. For mark-to-market traders, it is possible to generate Form 4797 for their tax return. Moreover, you have the option to delete a trade or all trades for a specific company. Additionally, you can view your open positions with date and time. The utilities menu includes a what-if wizard for finding opportunities for strategic tax loss selling. You also have the ability to import trades from your brokerage and export your Schedule D to TurboTax, TaxCut, Excel, or other tax software.
